
Gatorship 2008 - January 18-20
Gatorship is a unique leadership experience for both emerging and experienced student leaders at the University of Florida. It is designed to be an intense and thought-provoking weekend retreat where over 60 participants and student staff have the opportunity to interact through team building activities and group discussions. The focus is to identify current leadership issues in a multicultural society both at the University of Florida and in the community. Participants will engage in educational sessions and serve as peer educators through the sharing of personal experience.

The mission of Gatorship is to:
- Identify issues affecting the campus climate at the University of Florida
- Strengthen the practices of productive leadership
- Educate University of Florida students on real world leadership issues
- Prepare students who will be future leaders in the diverse work force
- Provide opportunities for campus leaders to network.
