Arranging testing accommodations:
- If you and your instructor are able to work out your test accommodations without any assistance from the DRC, you do not need to coordinate your testing arrangements with the DRC. However, you should confirm your arrangements with your instructor before each test and communicate with him/her about how you feel the arrangements are working.
- If your instructor is unable to provide the needed accommodations, the DRC will assist. To access testing arrangements through the DRC, please complete the following steps:
- Pick-up an Accommodated Test Request (ATR) form from the DRC or download the Accommodated Test Request Form (ATR) at least 10 days prior to the date of the exam.
- Fill out the "student" portion of the request form and immediately give it to your instructor. Have your instructor complete his/her portion of the request form. All test dates for the semester may be entered on one form.
- Bring a copy of the completed ATR form to the DRC at least four days prior to the first exam date.
- Contact the DRC at least three days before the exam to confirm your test date and time. This will ensure that your test has been scheduled through the DRC. Click "Check your test schedule" on the main DRC webpage to confirm your test time and location.
- Arrive at the DRC on the day of the exam at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time with your UF ID. Be prepared to begin the exam on time.
- Your exam will be returned to your instructor or department as soon after completion as possible. Unless specified by the instructor, ALL exam materials must be returned upon completion of the exam. This includes the exam, answer sheet, and any additional materials that may be used.
