How to arrange for accommodated testing:
- If you and your instructor are able to work out your test accommodations without any assistance from the DRC, this is your last step. Remember to communicate with your instructor and advise them about how you feel things are going and if the arrangements are working.
- If your instructor is unable to provide the needed accommodations, the DRC will assist. To access the DRC assistance, please follow these steps:
- Come to the front desk at the DRC or download the Accommodated Test Request Form (ATR) about 10 days prior to the date of the exam.
- Fill out the "student" portion of the request form and immediately give it to your instructor. All of the test dates for the semester may be entered on the request form.
- Bring a copy of the ATR form to the DRC five days prior to the first exam date.
- Contact the DRC four days before the exam to confirm your test date and time. This will ensure that your test has been scheduled through the DRC. Click How to confirm your test time and location.
- Arrive at the DRC on the day of the exam at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time with your UF ID. Be prepared to begin the exam on time.
- Your exam will be returned to your instructor or department as soon after completion as possible. Unless specified by the instructor, ALL exam materials must be returned upon completion of the exam. This includes the exam, answer sheet, and any additional materials that may be used.
