The main forcus of GatorMania is to promptly introduce University of Florida's incoming freshmen class to organizations, offices, community, and academic avenues that are at their disposal. I helps incoming students to orient themselves with the local campus and community as well as the locations and purposes of the various University offices that can help them in their transition and acadmeic endeavors. It will also help to demonstrate the rich cultural diversity found on campus and help with the introduction of the entire student body to such entities.

Now in it's fifth year, Gatormania is the premier multicultural event of summer. Officially a part of Weeks of Welcome events, and one of the significant events of the Dean of Student's Office, the event offers students an afternoon to learn more about their University, discover various organizations and campus offices, relax, enjoy music, poetry, and indulge in foods all under the beautiful Florida summer sun.

The entire campus community is invited to come out and enjoy the day.
