P2P Mentor Program

New to the University of Florida and need some help adjusting? The Institute of Hispanic-Latino Cultures invites you to apply for the Peer to Peer Mentor Program for new University of Florida Hispanic-Latino students! This is an excellent chance for you to have fun while connecting to campus life, student organizations and campus resources!

Students selcted for this special program will be matched with a mentor within the first week of the semester. Mentors will be current Hispanic-Latino Students who have typically been active with the Institute and have been leaders in their respective student organizations. Participants will be required to meet with their mentors a minimum of 2 times a month. You will have a chance to interact with your mentor on a one-to-one basis, as well as enjoy group activities such as socials, seminars, and a closing event. Activities will be organized with the intention of connecting you with other students and assisting you with becoming familiar with Gator life! The mentors will also be available to answer any questions you have regarding classes and about the 42 Hispanic-Latino based student organizations at UF.
