Welcome to LGBT Affairs
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Affairs provides education, advocacy, and support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and straight-allied students, staff, and faculty at the University of Florida. LGBT Affairs aims to create a more hospitable campus climate for all students, faculty and staff by facilitating the ability of all LGBT Gators to pursue their studies, jobs, and lives free from the threat of bigotry and discrimination and by increasing awareness and sensitivity of LGBT issues throughout the entire campus community.

Mission of LGBT Affairs
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Affairs, as part of the Dean
of Students Office and the Division of Student Affairs, provides education,
advocacy, and support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning,
and allied students, staff, and faculty. We aim to create a safer, more welcoming
campus by raising awareness about sexual orientation and gender identity and
ensuring that all Gators can work and study free from bias and discrimination.
