Timeline
The University Minority Mentor Program (UMMP) follows a process in order to better match mentees with their respective mentors. Here is a timeline of what you can expect:
- Early July - Students receive their welcome materials from UMMP
- Mid July - Students must register and complete UMMP applications
- August 22 - Navigating the Swamp
- August 25 - First day of classes
- August 29 - Mentor & Mentee Match and Mingle
- October/November - Cluster Events
- December 2 - Reception at the President's House
- January - Women's Basketball Game and Dinner
- Early April - UMMP Closing Ceremony
