Preview 2008 Registration - Freshmen
Before you can sign up for your Preview session, you must read and agree to the following statements:
I have read and understand all of the information provided in the Preview registration brochure which was mailed to me or downloaded from this website.
I understand Preview is mandatory for all new students. I am unable to register for classes unless I attend Preview.
I understand the 2008 Preview schedule requires me to stay through 5pm on Day Two; unlike past years there is not the possibility to leave before 5pm on Day Two.
The Student Health Care Center must receive and process my Immunization Health History Form before I am able to register for classes.
If I have family participating in Family Preview, I acknowledge that the student schedule is separate from the family schedule.
I understand availability for each Preview sessions is on a first come, first served basis and once a session is full and/or closed I will not be able to register for that session.
I understand I am required to stay in Broward Hall on the night of Day One. I can't opt to stay with family members or friends who are off-campus or in a hotel.
I understand the University expects Preview participants to follow the University of Florida Code of Student Conduct, and if I am found in violation while at Preview I will be referred to Student Judicial Affairs and risk dismissal from the session, losing my scheduled advising appointment, and/or cancellation of course registration completed at Preview; and may have to wait to register for classes once all orientation sessions have been held.
I understand if I consume drugs and/or alcohol while at orientation I will be reported to the University of Florida Police Department.
I understand if I create a disturbance or purposely wander off while at orientation (even if I am with my family members) I risk dismissal from the session, losing my scheduled advising appointment, and/or cancellation of course registration completed at Preview; and may have to wait to register for classes once all orientation sessions have been held.
I understand Preview assumes no responsibility for the actions of individual students who choose not to participate in the scheduled activities of the two-day orientation program.
I understand Preview assumes no responsibility for personal belongings left at orientation.
I understand a confirmation will be sent to me once my Preview fees have been paid in full, and I should not make lodging or travel arrangements until I receive the confirmation.
In the event I must change my Preview session, I understand I will be charged a $15 administrative fee.
