- an official (not a copy) UF transcript
Selection Criteria
Recipients will be chosen based on the merit of their completed application packet.
General Information
This is a one-time award. Students can receive this award once as an undergraduate, graduate, or professional student. Students who attend both undergraduate and graduate/professional programs at UF are eligible for one award during their undergraduate degree program and one award during either a graduate or professional degree program.
All required documents (application, letter of application, and transcript) must be received prior to any consideration for the award. Application packets can be submitted throughout the academic year. Applicants must be enrolled during the semester the award is requested and subsequently awarded.
The letter of application is the most important part of the application packet. Please take the time to submit a letter that addresses what the award will be used for (no tuition requests will be accepted; computers are not typically covered), how much the item costs, and why you are looking to the Squitieri Scholarship for assistance. Awards are generally disability-related expenses that are not covered by outside agencies (e.g. VR, DBS).
Selected recipients will be notified within one month (30 calendar days) after the completed application packet has been received. The award will be available for payment during the semester the award is requested. Payment, however will not be made if the student is not enrolled at the time of payment.
