What is the Alumni Association?
Not only does the Alumni Association organize class reunions, support a network of alumni clubs, and provide numerous programs for alumni, it also sponsors programs for students and parents! The Student Alumni Association is a membership program open to all UF students that provides benefits and discounts to those who join. Florida Cicerones is a group of 150 men and women selected to serve as the official ambassadors for the University of Florida. Parent membership in the UF Alumni Association provides money saving member benefits and discounts as well as up-to-date information about the University of Florida.
Can students join the Alumni Association?

A Student Alumni Association (SAA) membership gets you in on the ground floor, introducing you to a worldwide network of University of Florida alumni. With more than 40,000 UFAA members, the association helps you stay connected to UF in important ways for your career—as well as social opportunities. Join and enjoy the member benefits while you are in Gainesville. SAA membership is open to all current students. Annual dues are only $15 and offer you terrific discounts at local restaurants, Gator merchandise shops, and many other area businesses that more than cover the cost of membership. Join now!
What are the Florida Cicerones?
Florida Cicerones serve as student ambassadors for the University of Florida. Those interested in becoming a Florida Cicerone must complete an application and interview process held in the spring of each year. The Florida Cicerones sponsor and plan programs for UF students, prospective students, alumni, and the community. Their activities involve giving campus tours, hosting alumni events including presidential hosting, co-hosting the Athletes/Students Forum, and much more!
Can Parents join the Alumni Association?
The UF Alumni Association offers a vital link for parents of students at the University of Florida, even if you are not a UF graduate. By joining UFAA as a parent, you are able to stay in touch with the university through publications such as the UF Today magazine and the weekly Gator News e-newsletter. You will also be able to take advantage of other various benefits and discounts at shops and restaurants, as well as on rental cars and hotel rooms.
