Libraries
The library system is composed of nine libraries:
- Smathers Library – Housing Undergraduate Services, Special and Rare Collections, the Digital Library Center, the best Latin American Collection in the southeastern United States and temporarily housing the Humanities and Social Science Reference Department, video collection and computer lab.
- Marston Science Library – Housing the sciences, government documents and maps collections.
- Architecture/Fine Arts Library – Supporting the Fine Arts and the School of Building Construction.
- Education Library – Supporting the College of Education.
- Allen H. Neuharth Journalism Library – Supporting the College of Journalism.
- Music Library – Housing books, scores, phonograph records, CDs and tapes.
- Health Science Center Library – Supporting the staff and students at Shands Hospital.
- Legal Information Center – Supporting the Law School.
- Library West - Library West is open and is a state-of-the-art facility with increased study space, compact shelving to hold more books, wireless computer access and a café.
