About:
The Division of Recreational Sports offers a full array of healthy, fun, and FREE recreational activities to University of Florida students. The Division of Recreational Sports maintains the University's two student fitness centers, outdoor recreation facilities, Florida Pool, O'Connell Center Weight Room & Pool, Lake Wauburg and offers fun sports and fitness programs including Sport Clubs, Intramural Sports and group exercise classes. The fitness centers feature state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength & conditioning equipment rooms complete with personal trainers and Fitness/Wellness Centers.

Facilities and Programs:
Southwest Recreation Center – The Southwest Recreation Center (SWRC) is a 64,000 square foot flagship recreation facility located on the corner of Hull Road and Bledsoe Drive, across from the Harn Museum. SWRC offers a full schedule of group exercise classes, features a 6,500 square foot cardio-theater, a 14,000 square foot strength & conditioning room, four full-size basketball courts, six racquetball courts and a multipurpose gym that can accommodate indoor soccer and basketball.

Student Recreation & Fitness Center – The Student Recreation & Fitness Center (SRFC) is centrally located on campus on Fletcher Drive, just north of the Infirmary and east of the stadium. SRFC houses the Lifestyle Appraisal Center, eight racquetball courts, a multipurpose gym, a strength & conditioning room, an indoor cycling room and two aerobics rooms.

O'Connell Center Weight Room and Cardio Room – The O'Connell Center Weight Room and Cardio Room are fully-staffed fitness facilities and are open for use by all UF students.

Sport Clubs – For individuals serious about their chosen sport, the University of Florida offers nearly 50 Sport Clubs competing at the intercollegiate level. Students participating on a Sport Clubs team may travel to other colleges in the Southeast and nationally to compete in sports ranging from several martial arts, water polo, equestrian, soccer, lacrosse, fencing and many more.

Intramural Sports – The University of Florida has one of the largest Intramural Sports programs in the country, with more than 2200 teams and 65,000 participants playing annually. Intramural Sports features league tournaments for popular sports such as basketball, indoor soccer, softball, tennis and many more.

Lake Wauburg – Lake Wauburg is a lakeside recreational facility featuring two parks, Lake Wauburg North Shore and Lake Wauburg South Shore. Lake Wauburg North Shore is a great place to relax, swim, play beach volleyball, canoe, kayak or sail. Full restroom facilities and picnic tables are available. Lake Wauburg South Shore features a High Ropes Course for team building retreats, a fully-staffed 55-foot tall climbing wall and climbing grotto, disk golf and a multipurpose athletic field. For nature lovers, South Park's forest trails are perfect for hiking and biking, and picnic pavilions and restroom facilities are provided.

Outdoor Facilities - The University of Florida provides a myriad of campus outdoor recreational facilities for the enjoyment of the student body. These include multi-use sports fields, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, an inline skating arena, and Aquatics facilities.
