The Career Resource Center assists students in planning, organizing, and carrying out effective job searches. The purpose of the Center’s programs and activities is to provide resource information which helps students make successful career decisions. Services available include individual career counseling, seminars on resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, job search strategies and choosing a major, and daily walk-in hours for resume critiques.

Disability Resource Center (part of the Dean of Students Office) provides a variety of programs and services for students with disabilities.
Learning Services Center 101 Academic Advising Center 392-1521 The Learning Services Center was created by the Academic Advising Center in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to provide students the opportunity to improve their study skills, prepare for various tests, and learn more about the various majors and career options available to CLAS students. The LSC is a walk-in center, available to all UF students with a Gator 1 ID card, and appointments are not necessary. Resources include a wise selection of videos, audio cassettes, CD-ROMS, and books on study skills, note taking, reading, writing, test taking, motivation, time management, stress management, graduate schools, career opportunities, and more! Workshops also are available, including workshops geared toward pre-health and pre-law students.

The Office for Academic Support and Institutional Services (OASIS) in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is responsible for coordinating all minority activities within the College. OASIS is comprised of three divisions, Minority Recruitment and Retention Services, the Student Enrichment Services Program, and the Upward Bound Program. Through the combined efforts of its staff, OASIS provides academic advisement, tutoring and counseling assistance to specially admitted students as well as all other undergraduate minorities. OASIS is also responsible for minority recruitment, monitoring students’ academic progress, conducting research and evaluation activities, and being a repository for data compiled and analyzed.
Reading and Writing Center SW Broward Hall 392-6420
The Reading and Writing Center is a component of the Office of Academic Technology. The Center offers instruction in reading and writing. Activities include: a) independent, non-credit work, b) a drop-in writing clinic, c) free mini-courses dealing with specific reading, writing, or test-taking skills, d) free workshops designed to prepare students for professional examinations, e) remediation for the reading, English language skills, and essay subtests of the College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST). Instructional materials in both reading and writing labs include texts, handbooks, workbooks, audiocassette programs and computer software.
Teaching Center SW Broward Hall 392-2010
The Teaching Center provides free tutoring and study skills advisement to all University of Florida students. Depending on the semester, tutoring is offered in these and other subject areas: accounting, economics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics, astronomy, and statistics. Tutoring is also offered for a variety of engineering courses. Systematic review programs for the computation portion of the College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST) and the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) are also available.

The UF International Center provides a variety of services for the more than 2000 international students, representing more than 100 countries, enrolled at the University of Florida in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Specific services range from advising international students on immigration regulations and academic, financial and personal concerns, to issuing forms and documents that students use to transfer funds from home and travel outside the United States.
