Wonder Women: Discover the Power in You!

Celebrate Women’s History Month in March 2008!

Women’s History Month is a time to celebrate and promote leadership and pride among the women on the University of Florida campus. This year, the Women’s History Month Committee, in partnership with the Women’s Leadership Council and Dean of Students Office, will develop and promote many exciting events during March 2008. Women’s History Month is a vehicle for acknowledging, celebrating, and focusing on the accomplishments and contributions of women in society. The month also is an opportunity for the university community to become more aware of and receptive to the various voices and concerns of women.

The Women’s History Month Committee is inviting all organizations, departments, and other areas on campus to participate in this month-long celebration by sponsoring an event or activity. If you would like to be included in the Women’s History Month celebration, we invite you to create a unique event that will enhance the leadership, life skills, or general education of the women on the UF campus during the month of March. Your event will be listed on the Women’s History Month website which will be publicized throughout campus and the community.
